'Known best for her work with large-scale canvases that capture the weight and intensity of a single moment, Empty Bottles Broken Hearts is Meghan Paterson's first solo show in 5 years. Drawing from the faces of friends and strangers, Meghan casts her rich acrylic portraits against the emptied bellies of water bottles. Their bodies are identical yet completely distinct, each bottle taking on its own peculiar persona-a furrowed brow, an ambiguous grin, a hopeful gaze. Each container has been used, stripped, polished, restored, and in its own time, refilled. Empty Bottles Broken Hearts invites us to enjoy the beautiful dialogue of old and new, of fullness on empty.'

Hand crafted in Canada (Winnipeg to be specific), Manitobah Mukluks vision begins with their proud native heritage. This native owned Canadian manufacturer of footwear rich in the tradition of native people.

The Mukluk is a prime example of native traditions and their interaction with the environment. With a soft sole that would not tear the birch bark of the canoe; strong leather to stand up to the travel on the land also allowed a quiet approach when hunting game. All the while, the mukluk kept feet warm and dry through the varied Canadian seasons.
