Oliver Spencer draws his inspiration from hunting and the military, therefore is very well-constructed and has a very describable aesthetic. Oliver Spencer also admires Sandy Powell, costume designer for the Martin Scorsese movies Gangs of New York and The Aviator. Since the launch of the brand in 2002, it has grown and been adopted by the world's best shops and in 2006 saw the opening of its first standalone store in New York.
