Over 100 years ago in England, men collected scrap metal, old furniture, wood, clothing, and any other items from willing donors. Travelling by horse and cart yelling “rag & bone”, these travelers would collect these items for their own upkeep.

Rag & Bone is inspired by the aesthetic of the traditional workwear of this past era, as evidenced by denim and tailored garments. With all manufacturing and design based entirely in America, they strive to ensure ethical practices are followed and to preserve a strong American tradition of garment manufacturing.

Rag & Bone was nominated for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) award for best American Menswear designer in early 2008.
