Naot has develped a solid reputation for manufacturing high quality, comfortable, shoes. Originally founded on a kibbutz in Israel in 1942, Naot is still manufactured in Israel. Naot's success is premised on the idea that it is fashinable to walk in comfort. Naot shoes feature an anatomical cork footbed, which, on most styles, is removable and replaceable. Cork has three principal advantages: 1)it is lightweight, 2) it provides resilient shock absorption, and 3) it is anti-microbial to minimize odour. The anatomical design of the footbed also provides support for the metatarsal and longitudinal arch of the foot. |
