Established in 1905 by Charles H Beckman in Red Wing, Minnesota Red Wing Shoes has adhered to the following principles: quality, craftsmanship, durability and comfort.

With in 10 years of operations, Red Wing No.16 became the standard issue military boot during WWI and since then has become a premier American Heritage brand. Surviving two world wars and the great depression, Red Wing shoes maintained their production for the US military and became a favorite for a country busy returning to work after the war. Working with legendary American artists Norman Rockwell and Les Kouba, Red Wing shoes established themselves as an American classic until the 1960’s when the global oil boom prompted the move into Canada and other global markets. Today, Red Wing shoes has three facilities and employs hundreds of craftsmen and maintaining the companies principles of quality and craftsmanship.
