There are two types of weather in Scotland: "it's going to rain" and "it's raining", so Scotland seems the appropriate home for the world's best wellington boot. Mr. Henry Lee Norris certainly thought so when he set up shop with his master bootmakers in 1856. Although many things have changed over 150 years, many things would still be recognizable to Mr. Norris in a modern pair of Hunter boots: the care, the craftsmanship and the refusal to compromise on the quality of their hand crafted rubber boots. |
