Shoe the Bear was created by Danish designers Thomas Frederiksen and Jacob
Fuglsang in 2007. A year later the brand was handpicked to represent
Denmark at Tokyo Fashion Week which provided tremendous media attention and
recognition in the Japanese market.
Shoe the Bear is known for a balance of feminine and masculine trends and
has collaborated with numerous artists on sneaker designs, resulting in a
unique and ever evolving look. The brand has grown immensely since the
initial launch and is now in distribution in 15 countries worldwide.
