Adieu

Fueled by memories of youthful fashion obsessions and infused with a sense of poetry, Isabelle Guédon and Benjamin Caron founded Adieu in 2012. The Parisian designer duo brought their unique and authentically low-key footwear label to life, a timeless collection that combined romantic artistry with “bad boy” workwear staples.

Benjamin has always worn and admired the shoes of the British lower class, famous since the days of the Teddy Boys through the emergence of the most well-known and notable characters of the punk-rock scene of the 70s and 80s.

Isabel worked in a diversity of fashion roles, notably at Guy Laroche, Yves Saint Laurent, and as the head of the textile design department at “Les Arts Deco” Paris school. She provides the “collegiate” touch to the duo with her own Parisian twist.

Adieu's signature sole is visually simple but very sophisticated in its realization, composed of a layer of micro-cellular foam usually used for sports shoes, which gives it an unexpected lightness.
