Superga, named after a prominent hill which forms an amphitheatre around the Italian city of Turin, was founded in 1911 by Walter Martiny. Just over a decade later they established their iconic style, the 2750, which was labelled "The People’s Shoe of Italy". In 2011, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen took over as creative directors for Superga, bringing new materials and a fresh outlook on the classic style. Overall, Superga aims to "design and produce the highest quality footwear, in timeless classic styles for the entire family".
