Astorflex

Founded in 1820 by Ferdinando Travenzoli, this sixth generation family business stives to create durable, sustainable everyday boots produced in their Italian factory.

They began as a family-run workshop in the 19th century, producing wooden clogs for the local people working in the fields. As time went on, they established their first factory in Mantova, Italy, quickly making a name for themselves when it came to producing high-quality handmade wooden soled leather shoes.

After the first World War, they began to expand their production further and developed what has been referred to as ‘the best desert boots in the world’. Once the business was taken over by it’s current owner, Fabio Travenzoli, in 1984, the brand began to focus more on implementing new manufacturing methods that focused on sustainability and transparency.
