Tokyo-based label Reproduction of Found was established in 2016, specializing in meticulous recreations of vintage military footwear for the modern consumer.

Partnering with original Slovakian and Romanian factories that manufactured military training shoes during the 1950s and 70s, Reproduction of Found’s commitment to faithful recreations of vintage and archival footwear is remarkable. Ranging from German Army Trainers (GATs) to Italian Navy deck shoes, the source for each design is cited with model name, country, and original production year stamped inside each shoe. Improving only upon the materials used by opting for the highest quality available, their military trainers are an ode to history down to the last stitch.
