Slack London

Tim and Fiona Slack started designing and hand making shoes under the name Walkers from their workshop near Glastonbury in the early 1970s. The main clientele were visiting rock musicians from the emerging festival. An ethos of subverting classic styles still informs their work today and they continue to produce a line of footwear out of their Notting Hill shoe factory.
Slack London offers an eclectic overview of British style. Classic and street styles are made contemporary by innovative detailing and artisan quality. The brand represents a modernist approach to footwear and all of the styles are made in their factory in Alicante, Spain, combining high tech machinery and artisan quality.
