Benjamin has always admired and worn the shoes of the British lower class, famous from the days of the Teddy Boys through the emergence of the most well-known and notable characters of the punk-rock scene in the 70’s and 80’s, such as John Lydon, Joe Strummer or Alan Vega, among others. After having spent several years studying the art of shoe and boot making in Paris, Benjamin designed his first collection of Hand-made Brothel creepers, which were sold exclusively by “Absinthe”. He also designed a special collection of handcrafted shoes for Dunhill’s concept store “Rue de la Paix”.
