Alhaja
Alhaja, which comes from Arabic and means ‘jewel’ or ‘precious ornament,’ finds its essence in nature, history, traditions, and folklore of ancient cultures with a clear connection to its Spanish roots.
Born in 2020 after over 15 years of shared experience in the industry, founders Irene Rodrigo and María Borrero pursue timelessness and gender-free designs with a focus on sustainability. Working with Spanish factories that are certified members of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC), ensuring that material extraction and recycling processes meet the highest standards of sustainability and ethics.
For Alhaja, jewelry is a personal expression that transcends the passing fashion trends. Each piece in their collection finds its inspiration in treasured memories and family heirlooms, creating a union between the classic and the contemporary.
