Crescent Down Works’ history begins in 1974 when Anne Michelson started her own label after a storied and influential career with Eddie Bauer. It began as a small workshop in Seattle’s University District and has continued to grow internationally, partnering with trusted wholesale clients - particularly in Korea and Japan.

To this day, Crescent Down Works is manufactured meticulously and inspected to the highest degree of quality control in their Seattle factory. Anne’s daughter, Annie, now oversees the daily operations of the factory, where they remain committed to quality and timeless style while supporting sewers, designers, and pattern makers in their local community.
