This November, Gravitypope will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in Canada, and they will also be marking their third year as a fixture on the King and Queen West shopping scene. As a wildly popular footwear company on the west coast, gravitypope decided to make the move to Toronto after many requests from their loyal east coast followers. Owner and CEO Louise Dirks chose the Queen and Ossington spot during a time when the neighborhood had great potential for growth and was already an up-and-coming spot with some of the cities hottest galleries, boutiques and nightlife.

Gravitypope Toronto’s ‘micro-department store’ features an extensive collection of carefully curated footwear, clothing, accessories and apothecary from across the globe. The 4,000 square foot retail space was designed by Peter Turner and features original, hand-picked fixtures which are both modern and juxtaposed against LouisXVI furnishings and 1920’s French chandeliers.

Footwear brands include everything from Adieu and Marc by Marc Jacobs to women’s and men’s accessories and clothing from Sofie D'Hoore to Paul Smith. Don’t forget to check out their annual pre-Christmas sale which will feature 15% off all regular priced items and markdowns up to 50% on select items from Fall 2014 starting November 21 through December 2.
