The original DM’s icon, reworked in richly textured Crazy Horse leather. This 1460 edition is built in DMS Green, a heavyweight hide with a subtle two-tone pull-up that develops character with every step. Finished with antique gold hardware and tonal laces for a heritage feel. Grounded on our original bouncing sole and secured with our signature yellow welt stitch. A classic silhouette, made to get better with age.

Although the first official Dr. Martens boot, the 1460, hit the market on April 1, 1960, the boot brand's legacy stretches back to 1901 with the bootmaking Griggs family. Dr. Martens' innovative air cushioned soles originated separately in 1945 with an invention by Dr. Klaus Maertens. Loved for their long-wearing comfort, Dr. Martens have become an iconic symbol of self-expression, adopted by countless artists and subcultures.
