The Elphie ballet flat is Dr. Martens twist on a classic. Less dainty. More Docs. A pointed ballet flat shoe made from statement hair on leather with a mini leopard print. Fitted with wraparound laces that can be easily swapped out for a customized look. The tapered sole is marked with DMs signature grooving pattern and secured with yellow welt stitching.

Although the first official Dr. Martens boot, the 1460, hit the market on April 1, 1960, the boot brand's legacy stretches back to 1901 with the bootmaking Griggs family. Dr. Martens' innovative air cushioned soles originated separately in 1945 with an invention by Dr. Klaus Maertens.
