Archive DNA – punked up. The 1460 Harness 8-eye boot fuses heritage with heavy-duty detailing. Dr. Martens added a strong dose of brushed silver hardware in the form of a harness, studs and eyelets. And monochrome accents with black laces, a black and gunmetal heel loop, and black welt stitching. All atop a smoke lugged BEN sole with classic grooving.

Although the first official Dr. Martens boot, the 1460, hit the market on April 1, 1960, the boot brand's legacy stretches back to 1901 with the bootmaking Griggs family. Dr. Martens' innovative air cushioned soles originated separately in 1945 with an invention by Dr. Klaus Maertens.
