Description

The 1460 Croco 8-eye boot sees Dr. Martens most enduring silhouette take on a new guise once again. Shined up with Atlas Croc Emboss, a faux embossed printed leather, the boot retains the classic detailing of the original boot with a monochrome twist: black eyelets and laces. A black and gunmetal heel loop. And black welt stitching. A smoke DMS sole with classic grooving completes the style.

Although the first official Dr. Martens boot, the 1460, hit the market on April 1, 1960, the boot brand's legacy stretches back to 1901 with the bootmaking Griggs family. Dr. Martens' innovative air cushioned soles originated separately in 1945 with an invention by Dr. Klaus Maertens. Loved for their long-wearing comfort, Dr. Martens have become an iconic symbol of self-expression, adopted by countless artists and subcultures.
