HOKA One One
Founded in 2009 by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Dicard, HOKA ONE ONE sought to design a shoe that allowed them to run downhill faster with less strain on their joints. By doing so, they inadvertently reinvented the running shoe.
Initially embraced by ultramarathon runners due to their enhanced cushion and stability, they quickly gained popularity among other runners for offering maximum cushion and minimal weight.
At HOKA, their goal is to inspire people to move. To empower all athletes to act fearlessly and creatively, to drive forward with purpose and passion – and with an “always-on” mindset for innovation and thinking outside the box, they continue to craft bold and unexpected new solutions for athletes of all types.
